For the most part, Chickweed is popular for salads and cooked greens. But they have also been used for natural weight loss by the North American Chippewa and Iroquois indians for centuries.  According to folk lore, Chickweed aids in weight loss by acting as a diuretic, laxative, and filling demulcent (soothing) properties.

Cayenne or Capsicum (Diuretic)
Most of us are familiar with Cayenne as an additive in spicy foods.  But this shrub with long, pod-like berries can also help with herbal weight loss, as it promotes perspiration and increases thermogenesis, which is the production of heat in the body.
The herb is available at any grocery or health food store, and is generally safe.  However, do not use Cayenne if you have intestinal disorders, as it can make your condition worse.
Hydrangea (Diuretic)
The name Hydrangea (right) is derived from the Greek phrase meaning "water vessel".  The Cherokee indians of North America have used Hydrangea for centuries as a treatment for kidney stones and as a diuretic.  Hydrangea's role as a diuretic may help aid weight loss.

Hydrangea

They are stem succulents, commonly referred to as "cactiform" because of this  plant's resemblance to cactus.  Hoodia Gordonii is well known as an appetite suppressant. Although many people rave about the effects of Hoodia Gordonii for herbal weight loss, no actual clinical trials on this natural weight loss suppressant have been performed.
